Tejas Bank is joining Maverick Bank, and the two organizations will officially come together on Friday, January 23, 2026. This partnership brings added strength, expanded capabilities, and a broader network of services while preserving the local relationships Tejas customers value. When the transition is complete, Tejas Bank will operate as Maverick Bank, and customers will gain access to an enhanced suite of products, digital tools, and West Texas branch locations. Your familiar bankers will remain in place, and we are working closely to ensure a smooth and seamless transition for all customers.

What You Need to Know
  • The merger will become effective at 5:00 PM on Friday January 23, 2026, at which time we will officially be one institution, and you’ll begin to see the look of our signage, ATMs, and website change.
  • The merged bank will be called Maverick Bank. The name speaks to our bold, independent spirit and deep West Texas roots.
  • We are committed to making this transition as smooth and as easy as possible. We value your trust and look forward to continuing to serve you.

  • 2nd Action Date: Monday, January 26, 2026

This is the action date for the remaining conversion steps, which include deactivating and reactivating your online banking connection for your QuickBooks or Quicken accounts.

Please note: Intuit aggregation services may be interrupted for up to 3–5 business days. The following services may be affected during this period: Quicken Win/Mac Express Web Connect, and QuickBooks Online Express Web Connect. During this period, you can manually download/export your transactions and upload/import them into your Intuit products. After completing the conversion instructions, carefully review your downloaded transactions to ensure no transactions were duplicated or missed.
