Our story began in 1911 as Fort Davis State Bank, and for more than a century, we have served the people, families, businesses, and communities of West Texas with the same steady commitment that shaped our beginning.

In 2024, we changed our name to Maverick Bank, drawing inspiration from Samuel Maverick, a true Texan whose independent spirit helped define a word still associated with boldness, conviction, and a willingness to take a different path.
